Fitzhugh Cemetery is located at 2540 Country Club Road in Lucas, Texas in Collin County

We are a cemetery for graveside services only.

Flowers, artificial flowers, vases made of metal or stone (non-breakable), holiday wreaths, American flags for holidays.  When artificial flowers become faded, weathered or grass grows up between them they will be removed.  Small non-breakable items can be left on top of a gravestone.

Items that will be removed are breakable vases, fencing/borders, candles, decorative stakes/shepherd's hooks, wind chimes, bird feeders, balloons, solar/vigil lights, pinwheels, flags other than American, offensive or inappropriate decorations.  

The above disallowed decorations are standard in most cemeteries.  Breakable items are hazardous to visitors and mowers.   Items placed off marker/headstone have to be removed for mowing purposes.  

Planting of any kind must be approved.  Please call for details and approval.

Headstones can be no larger than 5 feet in length and 3 feet high.  The Cemetery MUST be contacted before placement in order to place it correctly.  Homemade headstones are not allowed.  You may use any company you wish to use, just please ask them if they deliver to Fitzhugh Cemetery.
